I want to be that cool when I grow up
FEMALE EXECUTIVE. KIM NG.(1968-present)
Kim Ng is a MLB executive with the position of Senior Vice-President for Baseball Operations for all of Major League Baseball. After graduating from the University of Chicago she began her career with the White Sox as a Special Projects analyst. She then worked in the American League offices approving transactions. In 1997 she became the Assistant General Manager of the Yankees, and then moved to the same position for the Dodgers in 2001. She has applied for many GM positions but to no avail, however, in the baseball industry, she has gone farther than any woman in history in terms of the jobs she has held.
Baseball Prospectus, and Jonah Keri, did a really interesting interview with Kim in 2003. Check it out!
