Yahoo Pipes: Where Are They Now?
If I had to name one of the biggest influences on my current company playAPI it would be Yahoo Pipes. I realize a lot has evolved in the general space but the purity of the idea in 2007 was really something. I was browsing the Wikipedia entry and came across a list of engineers:
Yahoo! Pipes was released to the public in beta on 7 February 2007. It was built by Pasha Sadri, Ed Ho, Jonathan Trevor, Kevin Cheng and Daniel Raffel
I have a notion that I will go find some of these men for playAPI once we move forward in a more public manner and convince them that their dream lives on in a new form A few of them are looking pretty occupied.
